My Email

Here is the email I sent out last night. I have already sold more than half of my samples ($300+ worth). I also had several well-wishing emails and even a few job offers - ha ha! Many customers placed orders online as well as a final support for me. I hope it helps you guys...

	I’M NO LONGER WITH SHADE

Shade announced some upsetting news for me today. They have decided to dissolve the Personal Shopper Program at the end of this week.

This means that this will be the last email that you get from me about Shade. I will no longer be associated with the company and my email address will be deactivated December 31^st.

I am very sad about the decision and the effects I will feel in my own life and with my family. I have been with Shade for almost three years, and have built a clientele of over 600 customers. I love Shade’s products and the company and have enjoyed every minute I have been with them. I have felt a real loss today and I will miss being able to serve each and every one of you.

But I am excited for the success Shade has seen in other channels of distribution. Chelsea, Shade’s founder, never dreamed of Shade becoming as big as it has and they have decided that the PS Program was just too complicated. They were not able to put the attention they needed to keep it going. Shade is feeling the effects of the economy right now and plans to focus their growth in retail storefronts, Macy’s, Costco’s, and of course online sales.

As for you, Shade says that they are working on a plan to take better care of your customers than they ever have before. But after December 20^th there will not be a 5% discount for purchasing with a PS Code. I will no longer have samples available to try on. And, I will no longer be able to do Shade showcases. Also any questions you have about products in the future will need to be directed to Shade Corporate at customerservice@shadeclothing.com.

So, with that… I need to sell off my samples! Here is a list of what I have. I will sell them on a first come, first serve basis. Please contact me ASAP if you are interested. If I need to ship, there will be a $4 shipping charge. You can reach me on my personal email account (mrwright5@gmail.com) after December 31^st if you want to see if I still have samples to sell.
